Exceptionally good. Friendly. Helpful and a central location. Beautifully and carefully modernised and kept excellently by the team. The comfiest bed I've slept in for a very long time. Unreservedly recommend this wonderful place.

I was upgraded to a lovely deluxe room. Well appointed and clean, with tea and coffee facilities. I booked a room only rate but was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary continental breakfast delivered in the morning. The hotel itself was quiet but there was a lovely whisky bar next door with an outside beer garden. Friendly staff made my stay very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

A delightful hotel with 10 really nice rooms on 3 floors. All en-suite. Brown bag breakfast delivered to your door each morning: water, yogurt, pain-au-chocolate, snack bar, and fruit. In room coffee and tea. Plush towels! Soap, shower gel, and shampoo. Amazing whisky bar, too! Over 300 different names. Great staff. All the Oban Distillery offerings. Located one block off the main street. Big lot for pay to park very close.

We loved this little hotel. It’s so clean and perfectly located. The best thing was the friendly welcome after a day of traveling. We were able to relax in the magnificent whiskey bar with fish and chips from the restaurant next door. John was amazing, from running our bags up the stairs to choosing an outstanding whiskey flight. thank you!

Wonderful hotel in Oban Scotland. Perfect location: easy walking distance to the center of Oban, it’s excellent restaurants, shops and sights, and close to ferries and trains. Rooms were lovely: beautiful views, quiet. Pub on main floor has a great local atmosphere and incredible selection of whiskeys and beers. Owners/Managers John and Helen were welcoming and always helpful. Chris the bar man has an encyclopedic knowledge of whiskey. The cleaning ladies were excellent and friendly.

Fabulous boutique hotel in a peaceful area of town. Staff both knowledgeable about whisky but also pleasant and helpful.

Was in Room 7 and it was ideal for a solo trip. Room was cosy but well appointed with everything you need - hairdryer, kettle, selection of drinks and biscuits and TV. Plenty of space to hang clothes. Good water pressure in the shower. Staff were really friendly and helpful - they helped me up with my bags and back down at check out. The staircase is spiral and a bit uneven (to be expected in a building of it’s age) so if you have serious mobility issues this place may not be for you but as there is no lift - but otherwise couldn’t fault it. Place was spotlessly clean and quiet.

This little hotel was a highlight on our trip. The staff was kind and helped us get oriented to the village. The room was perfect and the bagged breakfast was a life saver. Would stay again!

The hotel's staff are its biggest asset. Chris was friendly, helpful, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about whiskies - he is brilliant. All the staff in the hotel that we met were pleasant and helpful. Our room was small but beautifully decorated in restful colours. We really appreciated the tea, coffee and biscuits, and that these were replenished without us asking. Everything beautifully clean and of high quality. There is not a lot of storage space, but enough for a couple of days.

The Whiskey Vaults was a very cute and nice boutique hotel. Very nicely updated rooms. I had a virtual meeting at 3pm and Chris was kind enough to let us in early and help us with our luggage. The bar attached to the hotel is amazing with a fantastic selection. When I return to Oban, this is where we are definitely staying.
